Martylee (Marty) Kay Metevier of Belleview, Fla., passed away on April 9, 2008, at Lakeland Hospital in Lakeland, Fla.
Marty was born on October 21, 1944, the daughter of Martin and Kay Goodwin of Lyndonville, VT. Marty attended Lyndonville schools and married Albert Metevier on May 19, 1962.
Marty leaves behind her loving husband Albert and their three children, Alby, Jamie and wife Hope, Amy Metevier Rock, and nine grandchildren, all of Florida.
Marty also leaves behind a brother, Michael Goodwin and wife Fran, two sisters-in-law, Barbara Leonard and Margaret Williamson from Lyndonville, and several nieces and nephews.
Marty enjoyed going to yard sales, playing bingo, shopping, the computer, and most of all spending time with her grandchildren.
A funeral will be held April 19 at the Grace Baptist Church in Belleview, Fla. A graveside service will be in Lyndonville at a later date. |
