After our 1962 graduation, I joined the Navy and served in Alameda, CA at the Alameda Naval Air Station where I met my husband Bill.  We have just celebrated our 43rd anniversary.  We had two children and they in turn married and had two children each.  Bill retired from Lorillard Tobacco Company 3 years ago after 32 years with the company.  I retired a little over a year ago from being a part time Administrative Assistant in a real estate office for 21 years.  I held various jobs both full and part time previous to that.  We love retirement and have purchased 19 acres in the country and are building a house there. Our 16 year old granddaughter has a horse there and the rest of the family will be visiting often to take advantage of the country atmosphere.  Bill grew up in a small city, but for a long time we have both wanted to move further out. We very much enjoy visiting Lyndonville where my brother, sister and mother still live.
