Hello Classmates! Here we are, getting ready for our 45th reunion. I don't know about the rest of you, but the past 45 years sure have "flown right by" for me. I went to work for the Federal Government immediately following high school and enjoyed a 34 year career before retiring at age 51. Most of the 34 years were spent with USDA, Farmers Home Administration. The last 10 years, I was the Information Resources Manager for Vermont, New Hampshire and The Virgin Islands. My job was to "automate" 31 field offices. I had to design the office space, purchase the furniture and equipment, train the staff, the whole gamut!! It was a huge undertaking and I enjoyed it immensely. When I retired in 1995, home computers were a "rare" commodity .. I wonder how many homes have them now!
I have two grown children, Cindy and Bryce. Cindy is a CPA and enjoys her own business in her home. She specializes in tax preparation and is very very busy during the spring of the year. She is married to Steve Myhre, Jr and they live in Middlebury. They have 2 sons, Justin and Andrew. My son Bryce is the proverbial "bachelor". He's a Sea Captain on a 94 ft yacht, and lives in Ft. Lauderdale.
In 1995, I retired from my job and married Floyd Buck, the owner of Buck's Furniture, Wolcott! In the past 12 years, we have traveled all over the world (my real education begins!) and we have driven back and forth across the United States 4 times (my US History education becomes greatly enhanced!).
My hobbie is dabbling in web sites. I take care of 3 fairly large sites, one is an e-commerce site! Keeps my brain alive!!! I also love to garden in the summer months.
I hope many of you will join me in wanting this web site. It will allow us the ability to contact each other and, hopefully, to keep our address base up to date for future reunions! I plan to attend the 45th and hope to see many of you there as well!
